Structural report
These are review signals, not a pass/fail score. Different fonts and sizes can be intentional. This tool does not render slides or determine whether text fits.
Explicit font families
Names declared directly in slide XML; not a list of rendered fonts.
Explicit font sizes
Sizes in points, including run, default and end-paragraph declarations.
Empty text placeholders
Text placeholders with no nonblank text or field. Blank date, footer and slide-number placeholders may be intentional.
What this checks
Structural signals
Slides are counted in the presentation’s declared order. Font families and sizes come from explicit slide XML declarations, including Latin, East Asian and complex-script settings. The report shows which slides contain each declaration.
Important limits
Theme and inherited master/layout styling are not resolved. Images, charts, notes, embedded files and linked resources are not inspected or fetched. Empty fields are excluded from the empty-placeholder count. No visual rendering, accessibility certification or full PowerPoint compatibility test is performed.
File limits and privacy details
ZIP archives are limited to 2,000 entries and 200 MiB of declared uncompressed content. Only selected presentation XML is decompressed: up to 2 MiB per part and 12 MiB total, with actual byte, checksum, nesting and element-count checks. Processing stops after 20 seconds.
Encrypted, legacy .ppt, macro-enabled, ZIP64 and malformed packages are rejected. Some otherwise valid presentations with unusual package paths, non-UTF-8 XML or excessive complexity are unsupported.
The checker runs in a browser worker and returns counts and bounded findings to this page. Selected bytes are never sent to a server by the checker. Site delivery still involves ordinary hosting requests. Clear removes the current report and stops its worker; closing the tab ends this page’s processing. This is an architectural boundary, not a confidentiality certification.
Built with locally served open-source parsing components. No remote scripts, storage, document telemetry or background upload service are used.
